10 Most Powerful Characters Killed By Batman

7. Dracula - Batman And Dracula: Red Rain

Batman Superman Injustice
DC Comics

Pitting Batman against Dracula has been done numerous times in different media over the years, and for good reason. The duo share some (admittedly surface-level) similarities and exploring their antagonistic dynamic despite said similarities makes for compelling storytelling.

This was best exemplified in the Batman and Dracula: Red Rain story, the first in an out-of-continuity trilogy where Bruce has to contend with Dracula and the very nature of vampirism itself.

Following a series of killings by the vampiric lord and his family, Batman seeks to stop Dracula from enacting further bloodshed on Gotham.

In order to level the playing field, Bruce is bitten by a rogue vampire and gains the strengths that come along with vampirism but retains his humanity. After wiping out most of Dracula's clan, the Dark Knight and the creature of the night clash in the skies.

Bruce wins by impaling Dracula on a wooden pole but not before the latter drains him of his blood, turning him into a full vampire.
