Victor Von Doom is without a doubt one of Marvel's most enduring and intimidating villains. The Latverian despot is primarily a Fantastic Four foe, but his machinations have put him at odds with the wider Marvel universe on multiple occasions.

So great is his skill and knowledge that he is considered second only to Reed Richards and Stephen Strange in science and the Mystic Arts, respectively.All this puts into perspective just how dangerous his opponent is during one of his rare losses. This was certainly the case in 2022's Iron Man Volume 6, where a cosmic-powered Tony (now dubbed the Iron God) commits questionable acts due to his power-charged hubris.

Prior to this, in an attempt to stop the powerful Michael Korvac Tony tapped into the source of the villain's strength and opted to keep this newfound might.
