10 Most Powerful Characters Killed By The Punisher

If there's one character who's powerful and difficult to kill, no matter what you do to him, it's Deadpool. The man is effectively immortal and can recover from pretty much anything, which poses a problem to someone like the Punisher. In Marvel Universe vs. The Punisher, Frank killed Deadpool many, many times.

The killing of Deadpool became a running joke in the book, and every time the Punisher killed him, Deadpool found a way to return to carry on his virus-infected cannibalistic ways. This was the reality where almost everyone was infected with a virus that turned them into insane cannibals, and Deadpool was not immune.

The Punisher wasted him several times, but in the end, he did manage to kill him in much the same way a vampire is finally dispatched. Eventually, Castle manages to put him down with a gunshot to the head, but that's only a temporary problem for the Merc with a Mouth.

After "killing" Deadpool, Castle opted to take the man apart, piece by piece. He cut the man into smaller parts and buried those pieces around the city. Doing so (theoretically) prevented Deadpool from returning, so for all intents and purposes, the Punisher finally killed Deadpool.
