10 Most Powerful Cosmic Entities In DC Comics

1. The Presence

Both Marvel and DC have their own stand-in for God. For Marvel it's the One Above All; for DC it's a being known only as 'The Presence'. They were created by Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel alongside artist Bernard Bailey back in 1940, where they gave Jim Corrigan his powers as the Spectre.

The Presence has made sporadic appearances since, but their cosmic potential goes without saying. As the creator of all that is and ever was, the Presence (also known as The Hand and The Source) is unmatched in terms of power.

Heck, they've even empowered and stripped away power from some of the other characters on this list, and if that doesn't demonstrate their strength - alongside the fact they, y'know, created the whole multiverse to begin with - then nothing will.
