Diana's life and power were gifts from the gods of Greek mythology. Imbued with the strength to be their representative on Earth, she has been placed in a position to protect the world. In that ambition, they succeeded more than they could have possibly hoped.

Wonder Woman's strength and speed put her on par with the likes of Superman and the Flash. She has entered the Speed Force under her own ability and once held up an angelic chariot large enough to destroy San Francisco WHILE it was burning her flesh. Flight, regeneration, and enhanced senses and agility round out her physical gifts. Perhaps most underrated though is endless stamina. Wonder Woman does not require any rest, and can literally fight forever, if necessary.

Those, however, are only the start. Diana is also fully equipped with gifts from the gods. Indestructible bracers deflect enemy attacks. She can conjure a magical sword forged by Hephaestus himself. The Gauntlets of Atlas further can enhance her strength multiple times over.

And lest we forget, as a denizen of Themyscira, Wonder Woman has been trained since birth to be one of the foremost combatants on the planet. When laid out like that, it's clear to see why Wonder Woman is one of the most characters in comics. Thank goodness she's an emissary of peace.
