10 Most Ridiculous Things Spider-Man Has Survived

6. Deadpool Being Deadpool - Isn't It Bromantic

Spider-Man Peter Parker Spider Monster
Marvel Comics

Like so many other comic book characters, Spider-Man has been 'killed' at several points over the decades. But during the early days of the Spider-Man/Deadpool title that launched in 2016, not only did ol' web-head die, he died twice in quick succession - both times courtesy of the Merc with a Mouth.

The end of Spider-Man/Deadpool #4 saw Wade Wilson make a surprise arrival on Peter's doorstep, shooting him dead with a point blank shot to the head. And Parker was dead. Like, really, really dead.

Even though they'd been bosom buddies, Deadpool had been hired to kill Spider-Man, and kill Spider-Man, he did. Initially believing that Spidey was in fact evil, Chiyonosake was happy with the job he'd done - but once doubt began to creep in, Wilson had his wife Shiklah resurrect Peter.

In typical Deadpool fashion, he immediately regretted that decision, quickly surmised that Peter Parker was definitely evil, and killed Parker for a second time. Again having an erratic change of heart, Wade then brought in Mistress Death to once more bring Spider-Man back to the world of the living.
