10 Most Shocking Female Comic Costumes Of All Time

4. The Witchblade Women

Witchblade is proof that there is a very thin line between comics and pornography. Coming out of the comics boom of '90s, Witchblade is a supernatural horror book that follows the adventures of Sara Pezzini, a New York City detective who bonds with an ancient supernatural sentient gauntlet called the Witchblade. The Witchblade is an ancient artefact that specifically bonds with a female host. And when this sentient gauntlet attaches itself to a host, it apparently strips each of them of their clothes. All you have to do is turn on an episode of Law And Order: SVU to realise that New York detectives don€™t dress like Sara Pezzini. Don€™t think for one moment that Sara was the only one who has had to endure the perpetual nudeness of the Witchblade. When Danielle Baptiste, a young ballet dancer from New Orleans, inherited the Witchblade for a while, she too was forced to trounce around mostly nude as well. The sad thing about Witchblade is that their shocking attempts to objectify and sexualise their female characters actually aren€™t that sexy. Rather, these illustrations look rather creepy. Who would want someone with an arm like that touching their junk? No thanks.

Since childhood, Bryant has been an avid fan of superheroes, and he has been reading comic books since 2006. His full name is "George Bryant Lucas"; however, after enduring countless Darth Vader jokes, he has chosen to go by his middle name. Born and raised in the United States, Bryant is currently living with his lovely wife in the country side of Wiltshire County, UK. Bryant does suffer from a mild case of dyslexia; misspellings and homonyms are to be expected on occasion.
