Much like Daredevil, competing with previous runs of Jessica Jones is quite a task, mainly because only one other person has actually written her solo outings.

So, there was just a little bit of pressure on Kelly Thompson when she took up the character in a brand-new chapter following Bendis' leave of Marvel. Though, upon reading her take on Jones, it is certainly more than worthy a follow up to the original series.

Due to the nature of the book's release (the individual issues are only available digitally), it hasn't gotten nearly the amount of attention that it deserves, as Thompson manages to tell a story full of classic superhero antics, genuine emotion and overall brilliance.
