10 Most Unexpectedly Powerful DC Villains

1. Mister Mind

Mister Mind is Shazam's most powerful villain, despite the fact he is a two-inch alien worm. At first, this Venusian critter seems utterly ridiculous. In his early years, he wore glasses and spoke through a talkbox wrapped around his neck. He was originally defeated by being strapped to a tiny electric chair and shocked to death. How can you possibly take him seriously?

But due to his vast telepathic abilities, Mind is one of the most terrifying evildoers in existence. Not only can he control virtually anyone with his mental powers, but he can also reproduce asexually, creating siblings which have the same powers as him.

What makes him even more dangerous is the fact that he was only a larva when his character debuted. When he matured into adulthood, Mind became so powerful, he needed to eat space-time to survive. He was so immense, he could alter Earth's history with a flap of his wings.

Unable to defeat him conventionally, the heroes of Earth managed to stop Mind devouring reality by reverting him to his larva form.

With the character teased in the post-credits scene of Shazam, it won't be long before we see the true power of Mister Mind on the big screen.
