3. Sugar Man
With a name like Sugar Man, it’s unlikely you were expecting the actual nightmarish visage that awaits. That said, it’s always nice to have characters that aren’t just regular dudes – although it does seem like his appearance has left him unfortunately typecast.
On a practical level, Sugar Man isn’t that weird – okay, so he looks like Zola or Krang was made into a fully human body - but his evil deeds aren’t that wildly different from the regular roster of Marvel villains.
No, the weirdest thing about the Sugar Man is that we know incredibly little about him – including where in the seven hells his name originates from. We have no idea how he ended up the way he is, with the name he has, or why he looks the way he does. As a character who has been in a modest number of comics, it seems crazy that nobody has wanted to explain anything whatsoever about him.
