10 Questionable Actions Committed By Wolverine

10. Joining Almost Every Team In The Marvel Universe

Teams

Seen In: New X-Men #114, Uncanny X-Men #394, Astonishing X-Men #1, Uncanny X-Men #444, X-Men #157, New Avengers #6, New Avengers #1 (volume 2), Avengers #1 (volume 4), X-Force #1 (volume 3), Uncanny Avengers #1, Avengers #1 (volume 5)

When Cyclops returned to the X-Men after being bonded to Apocalypse for a time (don't ask), the X-Men restructured into two strike forces and Wolverine ended up on both of them. After Magneto or Xorn posing as Magneto (again, don't ask) nearly destroyed the planet, the X-Men once more restructured, this time into three teams.

Once more, Wolverine ended up on all three of them. Later, when Iron Man and Captain America reformed the Avengers after the Scarlet Witch went crazy and tried to kill them (please don't ask), one of their last recruits was Wolverine. Who was still a member of three separate X-Men teams and didn't feel like this would pose a conflict of interest. But apparently, Logan didn't have enough team-building by this point. So while being a member of three different X-Men teams and the Avengers, he also decided to take on the leadership role of a black ops team called X-Force (more on them later).

Oh, and after Steve Rogers returned from the dead and the Avengers restructured into three teams, guess who was on two of those teams while also running around with all the different X-groups? That's right: Wolverine. For a guy who claims to be a loner, Wolverine sure doesn't show it given all the different groups he appears in. We're guessing the only reason he's not a member of the Fantastic Four is because their name forces a membership cap on them. Although he was part of an interim Fantastic Four at one point...
