FCO Plascencia must be the bravest colorist in superhero comics today. Making Greg Capullo’s pencils come alive since the series’ start, FCO's colors really kicked into high gear with the coming of “Zero Year.”
Over the course of that arc, readers were treated to colors and palettes the likes of which are rarely seen on the pages of superhero comics these days. Rich pinks, queasy yellows, heavy greys, knockout purples.
If you don't think FCO’s inclusive palettes are adventurous for comics in general, they surely are for a freaking Batman comic.
