6. Professor X's Dream Lives
This run is the closest we ever get to seeing Professor Xs dream of peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants being lived out. The entire team believes in the Professors dream, and not just in theory. They live it, most of the time without Xavier. The power of the dream is clearest in God Loves, Man Kills. Although this story is often thought to be about the hatred of humanity for mutants, it is also a story about hope for coexistence, in the same way The Trial of Magneto is also a story about hope. This run shows that Xaviers dream is even bigger than himself. When Xavier doubts the dream, the others around him are there to encourage and explain why it is so important.
