8. Paranoid Pill
The Paranoid Pill is one of the weirdest and scariest weapons that DC has ever come up with, which would explain why it's been used a resounding once in all of comics - appearing briefly in Mister Miracle #3-4, and then being way too creepy to ever be used again.
The pill is a sort of anti-mental health medication, and instills a full mental breakdown and acute paranoia in those who consume it. In the previously mentioned Mister Miracle comic, the titular hero sees these effects on an entire 50 story building full of people that have been fed the drug, and - even without the more realistic style of modern comics - it's absolutely terrifying to see.
It seems as though this comic was also a little too intense for those working on the superhero's run, as after this the Paranoid Pill disappeared to never be used again, which isn't necessarily a bad thing given how spooky it was.
