10 Ridiculous Superhero Vehicles You Won't Believe Exist

6. Superman's Supermobile

Superman is one of those characters who never needs to hop into a vehicle, as he can pretty much go wherever he wants without any problem. While that's normally true, there are times when he might need a ride, though, when the writers introduced the Supermobile in Action Comics #481, it was more of a justification for the toy than the other way around.

In terms of toys, the Supermobile was actually well made and fun to play with, but it didn't make a lot of sense. Superman doesn't need a small spacecraft that has two extendable punching arms on its sides, but they made one for him nonetheless.

In the comics, it was explained that the Supermobile was made of "supermanium, the strongest metal in the universe," and it was there to serve the Man of Steel whenever his powers failed him. To be fair, that does happen every once in a while, though it's rare.

Regardless, the vehicle was thrown into the comics and had a few appearances before being forgotten forever. Now that Supes' has a superpower that drains him of all his powers for a 24-hour period, it wouldn't be horrible to see this crazy car come back to the comics, even if it's highly unlikely to happen anytime soon.
