3. The Whirly Bat

Batman has no shortage of vehicles he uses to get around, which is clear from this list, seeing as he has three entries. Still, most of Batman's contraptions make sense, even if they are named strangely. The Batmobile gets him around and the Batwing moves him really fast, but the intermediary between the two is kind of odd.

When the Batmobile was taken out by a criminal from the future, the Dynamic Duo hopped into the recently-completed Whirly-Bats, so they could pursue him. Ultimately, the Whirly-Bats proved inferior to the futuristic weaponry, resulting in their destruction the first time they were used.

Eventually, they were rebuilt, but the design of these things is absolutely ridiculous if you know anything about how helicopters work. The way these things were made, there's no way they could have been steered, and because it really was just a wheelchair attached to a giant propeller, there's a good chance, the occupant would get killed just sitting inside.

One of the more recent uses of them proved how dangerous they were. When Hush made it into the Batcave, he attempted to escape using one, only to have his bandages become tanked in the rotor. It made him lose control, and he crashed it into the ceiling,
