6. Enhanced Resistance To Disease, Drugs And Toxins

A side-effect of Wolverine's natural healing factor is that his body is virtually immune to most disease, toxins, poisons, and the effects of drugs and alcohol.

Logan has constantly shrugged off exposure to diseases and viruses that have impacted his fellow X-Men, including being implanted with a Brood egg that his healing factor saw as just another wound to be healed.

Due to the adamantium in his body, his healing factor is constantly working to counteract the poison effects of the metal, which would kill him quickly were his body not always fighting it.

The same happens with other drugs or toxins if they are injected into him quickly enough and in large enough amounts. SHIELD once kept him unconscious with constantly pumping an amount of anesthetic into his body every minute that would rapidly put a human into a coma. When he was being made into Weapon X, the scientists experimenting on him had to keep him constantly sedated with massive doses of tranquilizers.

His healing factor can actually scrub the effects of regular poison exposure so quickly that he can still fight and exert himself while the poison is being removed.

He also has to consume alcohol at speed and quantities that would kill a non-human (or at least a non-Canadian), making him a less than ideal person to play drinking games with.
