10 Strangest Members Of The Suicide Squad

4. The Hunky Punk

One of the more recent additions to Task Force X; this ridiculous costumed criminal looks like a creation ripped from the wacky pages of the silver age. A supervillain who longed to be a hero, the Hunky Punk was a mysterious and underused addition to the Squad's roster.

2016's New Suicide Squad introduced readers to Dorian Ashemore, a bored history teacher from London who was given superpowers by a black dog in the ruins of an old church. Ashemore turned to crime as a remedy for his disenchantment with life, after failing to do anything good with his new powers. Apprehend by Amanda Waller and blackmailed into helping the Suicide Squad, the Hunky Punk used his super strength, intellect, and invulnerability to aid on a mission to save Deadshot and Harley Quinn from the Fist of Cain cult.

Rescuing the Squad members, he divulged to Captain Boomerang that he'd always wanted to be a hero and had finally secured his moment. His moment was cut short by the arrival of the murderous Rose Tattoo, who quickly shot him in the face.

Little more is known about this curious character, but his cheesy costume, laughable name and backstory, and untimely death makes him one of the stranger, more memorable Squad members of recent years.
