10 Strangest Members Of The Suicide Squad

3. Putty

Even less is known about this malleable, super-strong supervillain. Killed in his first appearance in 2002, he's most famously known as the villain who developed claustrophobia and begged Killer Frost to murder him.

Despite a promising start, Putty's first mission to free an island infested with mutated killer ants quickly went south. With only one member of the Squad surviving the mission, it was a surprise to everyone involved that this enforcing behemoth was the first to go - and go in such a ridiculous way.

Under attack from the giant ants, Killer Frost shielded herself and Putty in an igloo - but Putty couldn't take the enclosed space. Despite his size, stature, and status as a feared supervillain, Putty revealed his chronic claustrophobia and went absolutely crazy, forcing Killer Frost to put him down. Freezing him and shattering him like glass, Putty's days of super-villainy were over and the Suicide Squad was another member down.

Another disposable Suicide Squad villain with potential, it's clear that even the most powerful players in Task Force X can be given the short end of the stick.
