10 Strangest Spider-Man Villians

1. Kangaroo

Stilt-Man Spider-Man Daredevil
Marvel Comics

Easily the villain that will leave you scratching your head the most is Kangaroo. Bouncing onto comic book pages in 1970, Frank Oliver spent his years living with wild kangaroos in Australia, where he developed expert jumping skills and agility. He decided to take up boxing once he became proficient in these abilities, though was banned soon after for seriously injuring his opponent after jump-kicking him in the face.

Fleeing to the United States, Oliver quickly turned to a life of crime, stealing a briefcase containing harmful bacteria, but was quickly thwarted by Spider-Man. The two had a second confrontation at the Hudson River lab, though this too ended badly for Kangaroo, with him dying from exposure to a dangerous radioactive isotope.

Oliver was not the only criminal silly enough to call themself the Kangaroo. Brian Hibbs took on the mantle after being inspired by the 'skills' of his predecessor, wearing a suit that granted him a deadly pouch cannon and the ability to jump great distances. Again though, Hibbs was likewise also easily defeated by the Web-head. Both incarnations of the villain are nothing more than petty crooks who can leap abnormally high, whilst looking absolutely stupid.
