10 Strangest Spider-Man Villians

8. Screwball

Stilt-Man Spider-Man Daredevil
Marvel Comics

Possibly the least intimidating villain on this list, Screwball is an internet prankster who livestreams her antics to millions of fans. She first initially arrived to comic books in 2008, and since then has been a real nuisance for Spider-Man.

Whilst never being a major threat to New York, Screwball spent most of her criminal life robbing banks and giving Spidey a run for his money when it comes to parkour, frequently managing to slip through the hero's fingers. She has also worked with Doctor Octopus to kidnap Norman Osborn's daughter, though was quickly stopped by Spider-Man.

The character resurfaced relatively recently, making an appearance in the Spider-Man PlayStation game, where she continues her irritating antics. After tricking the Wall-crawler into thinking she had a hostage, Screwball got Peter perform a long list of different tasks, much to the delight of her fans, watching it all through her livestream. Once Spider-Man figured out she did not have a hostage, Screwball posed virtually no threat at all, with her being dealt with and arrested extremely quickly.

With her providing a welcome change in tone compared to other villains like the Green Goblin, Screwball is still a decent member of Spider-Man's rogues gallery, even if she is more of an irritant than she is an actual villain.
