10 Strongest Comic Characters Who Have Joined The Suicide Squad

5. The General (Wade Eiling)

Black Adam DC Comics Alex Ross
DC Comics

General Wade Eiling is one of comics' most reprehensible military-based characters and his grey behemoth-like form embodies the ugly militarism he stands for.

Beyond his cruel and unusual nature, his form as the General is physically imposing and virtually unstoppable by nearly all means, further reinforcing the threat he poses to the world.

The Shaggy Man form gives him near limitless speed, strength, healing abilities and durability, enabling him to overwhelm Superman and be considered a planetary level threat by the Justice League. The only drawback to this form is his reduced intellectual capacity, which works against him in fights and strategizing/planning.

He joins the Suicide Squad after a brief stint on the Secret Society of Supervillains, and true to form decides to betray his team.

However, his regenerative abilities were greatly weakened and as a result, Rick Flag explodes the cranial explosive implanted in his head, incapacitating him and erasing most of his memory.
