10 Strongest Comic Characters Who Have Joined The Suicide Squad
4. Manchester Black
Manchester Black's immense psionic abilities have consistently shown him to be a threat to nearly any hero that would dare cross his path. This sentiment is reinforced whenever he commands the super-powerful group, the Elite. The super team first appeared in the seminal Superman tale, ''What's so Funny about Truth, Justice and the American Way?''
Black's background is vague but hinted to be tragic and shaped his skewed views of heroism and villainy.
His dangerously pragmatic worldview coupled with his psychic powers has enabled him to control massive numbers of supervillains, repurpose Doomsday's hatred of Superman towards Imperiex probes, and even give Superman a telekinetically induced stroke by pinching the blood vessels in his brain.
Though his time on the Suicide Squad was brief, it came at a pivotal time when all of existence was threatened by Imperiex, and all heroes and villains needed to team up to stop the cosmic entity.
This iteration of the team was created by Lex Luthor for the purpose of recovering Doomsday from imprisonment. The mission went awry when Doomsday attacked the team, with Black only escaping by manipulating the behemoth to channel his rage against Imperiex's army.
