6. He's Insane
Besides the lol he shags Robin thing, one of the primo novice psychologist analyses of the Caped Crusader is that he is definitely insane. For sure. 100% around the twist. He's a man that dresses up like a bat, for Christ's sake! Which, by that logic, you have to denounce basically every superhero in existence for being a crazy person who wears lycra and has some sort of gimmick, usually based on an animal. The idea that Batman is mentally ill is, again, borderline offensive. The idea is that seeing his parents gunned down in front of him must have sent him off of the deep end and hey, who wouldn't? Like, besides the hundreds of thousands of kids in history who have seen that very thing happened to them, and not been diagnosed with anything. Sure, they'll be disturbed, and many will suffer from mental trauma as a result of such a childhood tragedy, but the human mind is a resilient thing. And considering Bruce Wayne's meant to have one of the most brilliant minds on the planet, he's probably not doing too badly. There's a difference between determined and psychopathic.
