2. Black Canary

In comparison to the last few redesigns, Black Canary's 1980s outfit is a sight for sore eyes because, instead of outright fetishising the character's body, DC opted to give her the lamest costume possible. The flare boots are bad enough, but it's as you work your way up the clothes that things start to get so much worse. The wings that jut out from her midriff are so impractical as to be laughable (how does she get through doors without turning sideways?), the headband is kind of unforgivable and the black-on-blue colour scheme makes it look like a much cooler superhero is trapped inside Canary's body. Funnily enough, the fans thought so too and DC inevitably agreed, having Black Canary return to her classic costume and actually featuring this oone being burned on the cover of an issue.
