10 Superheroes Who Are Too Arrogant For Their Own Good

6. Deadpool

When you€™re an insane mercenary with a healing factor and penchant for breaking the fourth wall, arrogance is probably going to be one of your strongest personality traits. What makes Deadpool such a hilarious and off-the-wall character is that he doesn€™t think, he just does whatever he wants. Why wouldn€™t he? He heals from almost anything, so charging into dangerous situations doesn€™t require any thinking or planning. The flip side of that is that anyone around him is inevitably screwed. To be fair, Deadpool doesn€™t purposefully go around killing innocents, but his antics often involve others getting injured in the process. In his world, he€™s the only one that matters, so why would he care about protecting others if it doesn€™t benefit him? Hmm, maybe putting him on a superhero list wasn€™t the best idea. Of course, when you get Deadpool hijinks, you€™re guaranteed a lot of wise-ass dialogue. Whether it€™s teaming up with a Marvel hero or taking on a bad guy, Deadpool is always going to provide color commentary and annoy whomever is around him. That€™s how sure of himself he is. No matter how dangerous the situation is, the combination of a healing factor and insanity has made the world into his plaything. We€™d ask him to come to his senses, but then he wouldn€™t be any fun to read. It€™s probably best to just keep your distance and watch from afar.
