10 Superheroes Who Are Too Arrogant For Their Own Good

3. The Human Torch

They don€™t call him €œhot-head€ just because his body is aflame. Since he made his debut in 1961, Johnny Storm has always been the most impulsive member of the Fantastic Four. More often than not, you can depend on him to charge into the battle first without thinking, and sometimes this puts the rest of the team is at risk. Obviously his flame powers are mighty, but just because you€™re a human inferno doesn€™t mean that you€™re invincible. His fiery temper also results in starting arguments with many of his allies, most commonly The Thing. It€™s not just in confrontations, however. Of the all the members of Marvel€™s First Family, Johnny is the one that shows off his abilities the most, whether it€™s his flashy maneuvers or his signature €œFlame On€ battle cry. Though the 2005 Fantastic Four movie was terrible, it did a great job showing Johnny€™s aspirations for fame. Driving fast cars, chasing attractive women and showing off his fiery talents at public events, Johnny clearly has no problem being in the limelight. Like most superheroes, his heart is in the right place, but it wouldn€™t hurt him to step back and think before acting, both in combat and his personal life. You€™re a trailblazer in the superhero biz, Johnny (pun fully intended), but you€™re way too cocky.
