10 Superheroes With Shockingly Deadly Powers

9. Plastic Man

Invisible Woman
DC Comics/Alex Ross

It might be hard for anyone to look at Plastic Man and think of the words “dangerous” or “deadly” but everyone forgets that Patrick “Eel” O’ Brian was a criminal for many years prior to his strange transformation into Plastic Man. It is possible that the chemicals that entered O’Brian’s bloodstream and gave him his incredible malleability also unhinged his mind and his wackiness isn’t an act but a genuine psychosis.

Given the liquid state of his own body, it stands to reason that anyone that he trapped inside of him during his antics would die almost instantly. For example, Plastic Man will often turn himself into a ball and bound around the landscape. If he were to trap a foe within that circular form, they would be crushed into a soup in a matter of minutes. O’ Brian could also take a literal “hands-on” approach to kill someone by snaking one of his fingers up their nasal cavity or down their throat and blocking their airway.

Plastic Man has the ability to draw or shunt mass away to some unknown dimension. As such, he can shrink as small as a few inches to the size of a skyscraper. It would be nothing for him to simply step on his opponents like a later-day giant. Or make himself as thin as a sheet of paper, wrap himself around someone and smother them.
