10 Superman Rip-Offs Who Are Stronger Than The Man Of Steel

2. Blue Marvel

In the Marvel universe, Captain America was perceived as the world's saviour during the 1940s. In the 1950s, it was Marvel Boy in the limelight. But at the turn of 1960, Blue Marvel entered the superhero scene, everything changed. Due to his insurmountable power and boundless strength, it only took a year before he was hailed as a messiah.

But when his costume was ripped in mid-battle, the public learned he was black. When the US government learned Blue Marvel was an African-American called Adam Brashear, they forced him to retire, telling him that Americans weren't ready to see a dark-skinned man with the power of a god.

Blue Marvel gained his abilities after being exposed to anti-matter; the most volatile energy source in the universe. This incident basically turned Blue Marvel into a living anti-matter reactor. To give you an inkling of how strong this energy is, one gram of antimatter can release the same force as an atomic bomb.

Although many Marvel fans consider The Sentry to be the world's most powerful hero, Blue Marvel is stronger. When the two engaged in fisticuffs, Blue Marvel managed to knock the Golden Guardian into space with a single punch.
