10 Supervillains Who Made Other Supervillains

2. Bizarro (Created By Lex Luthor)

Absolute Carnage
DC Comics

Desperate for his own Superman to control, Lex Luthor created a clone of the Man of Steel. Lex originally intended to harvest a Kryptonian-human hybrid that would be resistant to Kryptonite. After his experiments failed, Lex realised Kryptonian DNA was incompatible with human DNA, forcing him to create a Kryptonian from scratch.

When the world was invaded by an evil version of the Justice League five years later, Lex had to release his clone early to protect him. Although Lex's specimen was superstrong, awakening him preemptively caused him to develop side effects. B-Zero (or Bizarro as he calls himself) has a disfigured appearance and is of inadequate intelligence.

The procedure inverted Bizarro's powers and personality since his strengths and weaknesses are the reverse of Superman. Kryptonite increases his strength but sunlight weakens him. He has heat breath instead of freeze breath, shoots ice from his eyes instead of lasers, and has microscopic vision instead of telescopic vision.

Because of his vast strength, he is able to go toe-to-toe with heavy hitters like Superman and Wonder Woman. But because of his mental impairments, most superheroes have defeated Bizarro, simply by outsmarting him.
