10 Terrifying Comic Supervillains (Who Only Appear Once)

Kurrgo was the leader of the doomed planet Xanth. One of the first acts readers witnesses of Kurrgo is his kidnapping of the Fantastic Four from Earth. This is a desperate act meant to save his people from an incoming asteroid. Although the people of Xanth possess advanced technology, they have only two spaceships. However, they need to evacuate the entire planet's population.

So, Reed Richards uses a reducing gas to shrink the population and fit everyone on a single ship. Mistakenly, Richards fails to shrink the planet’s ruler, Kurrgo. And, ever the opportunist, Kurrgo plans to rule over his shrunken dominion as a colossus dictator.

He also does some other pretty shady stuff like manipulating the Thing into a fight with the Hulk. His ultimate plan is to kidnap one of these two monstrous heroes and use them as his private enforcer.

Luckily, for the Marvel universe, Kurrgo plans are thwarted when his own robot accidentally blows up his ship. Kurrgo has been presumed dead ever since this incident.
