Wally Wests career as The Flash is inextricably linked to his predecessor in the role. He served for a time as Barry Allens sidekick, Kid Flash, and was the younger nephew of Allens one true love Iris West. Who, it turned out, was from the 31st century, sent back in time to escape the crosshairs of a murderous speedster nutball called Professor Zoom. It was his connection to Barry, Iris and Zoom that eventually left the most lasting impression on Wallys tenure as The Flash. Linda Park (no relation to the South Korean actress of the same name) became Wallys one true love, much as Iris was to Barry, after he exorcised her of an 800-year-old Irish bard that had possessed Lindas body. Which isnt even the weirdest part of their relationship. Nope, that was when Professor Zoom came to mess with the younger West, and in the process attacked Linda and caused her to miscarry the twins she was pregnant with. Realising that was both gross and ridiculous, it got retconned during another time-travelling fight between The Flash and Zoom. Yay!
