10 Things DC Wants You To Forget About The Flash

8. All His Smallville Appearances

Long before the charmingly baby-faced Grant Gustin graced our screens, The Flash has appeared on TV screens in a variety of guises. He appeared in the same cheesy superhero sitcom special Legends Of The Superheroes and Justice League TV movie that Green Lantern did, along with more recent cameos on Smallville. The teen soap that began as Superman: The Early Years and fast got impatient with exploring Clark Kent€™s high school days, jumping ahead to introduce tonnes of characters and concepts which aren€™t supposed to show up until he puts on the tights for real, The Flash actually appeared in multiple guises. Bart Allen is a self-centred brat who challenges Clark Kent to a race, robs people, and has multiple phony IDs which use the names Barry Allen, Wally West and Jay Garrick. The latter actually shows up, too, in a flashback from the ninth season which sees him and the Justice Society getting arrested because of Watchmen-style laws. It was all a bit embarrassing.
