10 Things DC Wants You To Forget About Wonder Woman

4. The Earth 2 Version€™s Way Cooler

The New 52 might have not done Wonder Woman any favours in many ways, but one of the few interesting titles that€™'s been providing a neat new spin on the character since the reboot has been Earth 2.

The multiverse turns out to be alive and well in what€™s supposed to be a more streamlined DC continuity, with most of the interesting stories involving alternate realities involving this other Earth where it'€™s Bruce Wayne€™s father who becomes Batman, amongst other strange and exciting differences. Perhaps best of all is the Earth 2 iteration of Wonder Woman, who retains all of the powers and roughly the same origin as her regular counterpart, but still manages to be infinitely cooler.

Partly because of the nerfing of Superman€™s Girlfriend, Wonder Woman, but also just because the Earth 2 Diana Prince is infinitely more awesome. She rides a pegasus and everything! Sure, the Earth 2 Wonder Woman is dead when the series begins (giving her life, along with Superman and Batman, in order to repel the Apokoliptan invasion, leaving behind a world with no heroes), but she had a good run. She worshipped the deities of Roman mythology as opposed to the Greek, all of whom also died. Whoops.
