The truth is, although there has been a limit regarding what has actually been shown on panel, what can be done with a Green Lantern Power Ring is limited only by the wielder's willpower and imagination. Given sufficient amounts of both of those things, there really are no limits to what can be achieved with a ring. Far from merely being able to make constructs (although it must be stressed again that these constructs can be as big as planets, highly complex and able to contain things like suns and black holes) and giving the wielder amazing durability (they've been able to withstand planet-destroying attacks) and the ability to amp their own physical statistics, Green Lanterns have shown countless esoteric powers as well. Green Lanterns have shown the ability to create wormholes, transmute matter, split atomic nuclei, translate any language in the universe, create exact working duplicates of their own ring, give off electromagnetic radiation of various frequencies, travel through and manipulate time, alter the size of objects, make people invisible, travel through space at faster-than-light speeds, analyse and identify foreign objects, and they also remove the wielder's need to eat, sleep and pass waste.
