2. There Are More Than 7000 Green Lanterns

When the average person hears the words "Green Lantern", they think of it as being one hero - in much the same way that Green Arrow, Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Spider-Man or Black Widow are one person - but that couldn't be further from the truth. There are Green Lantern in every single sector of space across the DC universe - and there are 3600 of those - and the rough estimate for how many beings wield the green ring of power is approximately 7200. Of course, not all of these have been named - and nor have all 3600 of the space sectors been explored - but there have been countless Green Lanterns portrayed on panel over the years and not all of them have even been named, appearing merely in large group scenes.
