10 Things You Didn't Know About Hulk
Obscure facts about Marvel's green hero.
The Jade Giant, Joe Fixit, War, Green Scar, World-Breaker, Sakaarson and the Green Goliath - this rage-fuelled hero has gone by many names in his various forms (he was grey to start with, for example) and incarnations, but most people just know him as the Hulk. The classic version of the character is, of course, the alter-ego of Bruce Banner - a socially withdrawn and emotionally reserved physicist who, due to exposure to the gamma radiation that he works with, can transform into a super-strong humanoid monster by using controlled anger to do so. Having gained control of said anger, Banner can now transform voluntarily and use the power of the Hulk for good - and he has done so alongside heroic Marvel teams and organisations including the Avengers, the New Avengers, the Secret Avengers, the New Fantastic Four, the Defenders, the Secret Defenders and S.H.I.E.L.D.
