2. He's Useless Without His Bow

One thing that fans can't dispute is that Green Arrow loves firing arrows. He is, after all, pretty good at it, and the feats he's pulled off while nocking them back are massively impressive.
But that's no excuse to underestimate Queen's skills without a bow, however. He's actually a master swordsman, and as proficient in combat without his bow as he is with it. He's managed to give Deathstroke - by far one of the deadliest foes in the DCU - a run for his money on a number of occasions (most famously during Identity Crisis) and, when the occasion calls for it, he's just as handy hand-to-hand.
It might be easy to surmise that the character would be left vulnerable without his weapon of choice, but when a character comes up against Grundy - bow-less and ragged - and wins, then you know that he's the real deal.
