As she’s become more popular, she’s wriggled out from under the Joker’s thumb a bit more. Although her obsession for Mr. J is still important to her character (in certain arcs, it’s even the cornerstone), she’s got room in her heart for others, too.

She and Poison Ivy have had an on again/off again relationship for sometime, though the couple finally tied the knot last year in Las Vegas. Befitting her style and humour, they were married by an Elvis impersonator, proving that even without the Joker’s puppet strings, she’s very much still Harley Quinn.

Though Ivy is perhaps her best known lover after her less than romantic connection to Joker, Harley also had a relationship with Nightwing in the animated movies. When you count people she’s just kissed or propositioned, the list grows even bigger. Greens both Arrow and Lantern have both shared a peck with her, as well as Wonder Woman, Lobo and even Power Girl.

She’s a woman of wide and indiscriminate tastes, and while her complex feelings for Joker make up a large part of her character, he’s certainly not the only one she has eyes for.
