10 Things Everyone Always Gets Wrong About Harley Quinn

4. She Has No Family

This is arguably the most understandable mistake people make about Harley Quinn, as it’s only a mistake when alternate universes are taken into account.

In the Injustice saga - the same one that sees Harley team up with Batman’s remnants of the Justice League - Harley talks in-depth about her family. She has a daughter, Lucy, who is currently being raised by her sister, Delia. She mentions a mother and father too, but it’s safe to assume she has those in every universe in some way or another.

With that said, their influence is rarely felt, which may be connected to the isolation that makes her such an easy target for Joker.

Following in Injustice’s footsteps, Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker features her twin granddaughters Delia and Deidra. This storyline implies but never fully states that the Joker himself may be their grandfather too.

Based on her fantasies in Suicide Squad, a family for Harley might be the endgame for her in the DCEU as well. Watch this space to see if Warner Bros. keep that consistent or retcon it out of existence.
