10 Things Everyone Always Gets Wrong About Harley Quinn

Following on from her sometimes heroic leanings, a huge misconception about Harley is that she hates Batman. In the Arkham games, their relationship is played pretty straight, but even then Batman has enough respect for her to hand over Joker’s body at the end of Arkham City.

However, this is far from the first time her and Bats have met each other halfway. In the Injustice storyline, Harley has almost completely switched sides, teaming up with Batman and a host of other heroes to take down a corrupted Superman.

Added to the whole host of flings she’s had, her and Bruce Wayne have shared a kiss previously too, although Harley had no idea of his alter ego. But even when she’s firmly in Mr. J’s corner, she’s spoken of her respect for Batman’s ways, praising his efficiency and gentlemanly conduct.

For the most part, this begrudging respect is reciprocated. For one thing, Bruce Wayne definitely knows it’s Harley he’s kissing and doesn’t seem fazed at all. In The Animated Series too, he turns down a chance to arrest her, believing her to have turned a corner and letting her escape to a life free of Joker’s control.
