3. The Chair Is His Main Transportation
When Thanos first appeared in the post-credits scene of The Avengers, he was sitting in his hovering chair. Then in Guardians of the Galaxy fans got a better glimpse of his floating throne. This gave moviegoers the idea that the Mad Titan is all about getting around while sitting down.
The chair is a significant part of the character's overall look and is a very fitting place to snap his fingers and order the conquest of planets. But his hover seat is not his only method of transportation. At one point a massive spacecraft wasn't even his go to when it was time to cruise around causing mayhem.
In the Mad Titan's early days, he was known for having his very own personal helicopter. The evil Marvel Villain wasn't shy about letting people know who was flying this chopper as the name Thanos was in big capital letters on the side.
But this wasn't very practical for Thanos as the alien overlord was once pulled over and subdued by regular Earth cops. So it was very fitting when he abandoned this ludicrous form of transportations for something more practical when trying to become a legitimate threat throughout the universe.
