10 Things Everyone Always Gets Wrong About Wolverine

5. His Age

To be fair, Wolverine's history is so boned, even he probably doesn't know what's real and what's an implanted memory from the various Weapon X programs he's been part of at this point. Oh and there was the time Xavier wiped a bunch of his memories, too. That probably confuses things a little. Once again the films have only served to further muddy the waters, with the (admittedly impressive) opening sequence of X-Men Origins: Wolverine - the only impressive part of that movie - showed Logan and eternal rival Sabertooth clashing in countless battles across human history, including the Civil War and a couple of World Wars. Which implies Logan is like, 200 years old or something. That's some healing factor he's got on him, slowing down his ageing and all. We should all be go lucky to look like Hugh Jackman at age 200. Or to live to 200 also. That's slightly off base, mind, since the comic book miniseries Origin (which, thirty years after introducing the character, finally explained Logan's back story) was set in the late 19th century and involved Wolverine as a sickly child. So he's still pretty frickin' old for a superhero - Captain America's got nothing on him, and Logan's never been a Capsicle = but not quite pushing the couple of centuries that many assume he's pushing.
