3. He Owns The Copyright To His Suit

Perhaps one of the single weirdest pieces of knowledge you could possibly know about America's 'First' Avenger, is an obscure fact revealed in New Invaders #8; that Captain America actually owns the copyright to his patented American-flag supersuit.

While this is revealed in less than pleasant context - as Cap uses this detail to threaten to sue the U.S Agent if he keeps wearing a replica suit - the concept of Steve owning the copyright is a heartwarming one, as it suggests the American government signed over the rights to the costume created so many years ago to the hero as thanks for his considerable years of service, which is a pretty sweet deal.

It also means that whenever you see Captain America merch in the Marvel universe, Steve Rogers is likely making cash off of it - which would explain a lot about how he is able to fund all of his costumed capers.
