5. Most Of His Superpowers

Deadpool's skill set is one of the more...loosely defined in the Marvel Universe. Especially for a mutant, since the majority of them tend to have one particular ability, ie laser eyes, psychic, can control the weather, is a blue furry beast guy (wow Beast really got the raw deal in this whole X gene thing huh). And yet Wade Wilson seems to just have a fairly generic set of skills. There's the healing factor, which is almost identical to Wolverine's except he got it as a result of the Weapon X experiments, and it was given to him mainly to cure the cancer that was gonna kill him. Which also resulted in a bunch of gross permanent scars, but also means he can heal from having his head pulled off. Other than that, though, what exactly Deadpool can do is sort of a mystery. Sometimes writers toy with the idea of him having super strength, somehow tied into the healing factor thing, which is mostly forgotten now. Sometimes he's also multilingual, and an expert assassin, and a crazy good martial artist, and sometimes he's not. It's probably best not to think about it too much.
