Although Marvel don't want want you to forget about this arc per se, seeing as how it formed a part of Miller's incredible run on Daredevil, it's true that Elektra's time spent as Kingpin's assassin has been erased in the character's live action portrayals.
Both 2005's Daredevil film and the second season of the character's Netflix series elected not to use this element of the character's past, with the former introducing the character with a, uhm, playground fight scene, and the latter - although faithful to Natchios' roots - chose only to depict her time spent at Columbia with Matt.
Considering the arc is one of the most famous in the character's history, it's slightly strange how neither live action interpretation opted to portray this aspect of her past.
