10 Things Marvel Wants You To Forget About The Thing

8. His Wardrobe

While there's a lot that can be said about the Fantastic Four's outfits (especially Sue Storm's dreadful nineties redesign), there's no denying that they're iconic. Blue, white and sometimes red, the Four's wardrobe has been imitated on countless occasions, most famously in Pixar's Incredibles.

However, there's probably a reason why Ben Grimm's outfits have never formed the inspiration for many copycats, owing to the fact that (to go full Edna Mode for just once second), they looked quite ugly. Shifting from just some undies to a full jumpsuit over the years, Ben's never been one to settle on one design, preferring the feel of the breeze on his rocky exterior rather than the confines of a blue and white jumpsuit.

And that's fine, really. The Thing's got his own style, and he can rock it anyway he rocks. It'd just be nice for him to settle on one look, y'know? Especially when he's yet to sport one definitive get-up.

Whatever he chooses, it'll be better than his Ultimate outfit, that's for sure...
