1. Absolute Carnage Is Living Up To The Name

Coming in hot on the heels of War of the Realms is Absolute Carnage, another event in Marvel's never-ending smorgasbord of events brought to you by Venom creative duo Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman.

Spanning eight different titles, it will tell the tale of Cletus Kasady returning to the Marvel Universe and unleashing all kinds of hell. But he won't be alone, as he manages to infect dozens of different people with his symbiote, seemingly with the intent to turn the whole world into Carnage Land.

Cates and Stegman's series will explode into a frenzy of other hosts that will wear the blood-red skin, with several other tie-ins already announced. The first issue itself will retail for a whopping $7.99, and will clock in at 72 pages.

For those worried about the prospect of event fatigue, fret not. Marvel are calling on some of the best and brightest of the industry to weave it all together, and considering it's going to be up against some stiff competition, as their own War of the Realms heads towards its conclusion, you can't really blame them.

Absolute Carnage needs to hit the ground running and, by all accounts, it should.
