10 Things We Learned From Marvel's September Solicitations

3. Strikeforce Becomes An Ongoing

Carnage (Of The Absolute Variety)
Marvel Comics

As far as events go, War of the Realms has seen some seriously brilliant tie-in comics. Agents of Atlas was the first spin-off comic to get an ongoing after the event, and now another tie-in has followed suite with Marvel Strikeforce.

Ignoring for a second the series' namesake stems from one of Marvel's mobile titles, it's clear that Strikeforce has a lot going for it. There's a unique team, Tini Howard is onboard to write, and German Peralta is on art duties.

The actual premise of the title also seems really interesting. Blade has to assemble a team to tackle a secret threat to the Earth that grows more powerful the more people know of it.

It sounds odd, but with the team's roster there is promise that the book will be in a similar vein of fun to the likes of Savage Avengers.
