10 Things You Didn't Know About Apocalypse

6. His First Comic Is Worth Up To $4,800

It could be argued that Apocalypse's first appearance was actually in July of 1986's X-Factor #5, as he made a cameo in that issue, but it's generally considered that his official introduction was one issue - and one month - later in August of 1986's X-Factor #6. It is actually the latter that is worth the most money, thanks largely to this landmark. While Apocalypse is less than thirty years old - and therefore not particularly old in comic book character terms - his official first appearance comic can still fetch a nice hefty sum. If it's in mint condition and graded, it can sell for anything up to $4,800 - not bad when you consider that there are characters fifty years older than him in the world of comic books.
